“21 Jump Street” (2012)
Uneven, silly, but 21 Jump Street made me laugh. A perfectly fine free viewing experience, courtesy of the public library.

Cute movie. I like Channing Tatum more than I feel I should.

Channing Tatum in a wig = Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights. Tatum certainly seems to have a sense of humor about his looks, and I still want to check out Magic Mike. Because it’s a Soderbergh movie, ya know.

Magic Mike was bizarre! My husband hated it, but I was entertained. That was the 4th of July when our kids were gone and we decided to see as many movies as we could cram into a day, starting at 8 a.m. with a DVD. It was one of the best days of 2012. We keep talking about when we can find a day to do it again.

Ooh, Jennifer, a movie bender does sound fun! Did you see Savages, too? That’s another that I’m interested to see, but don’t want to actually buy. How many movies did you end up seeing, and were you burnt out by the end of the day? I thought Channing Tatum did a good job being funny in the movie. Reminded me of how good Brad Pitt was in Burn After Reading and Inglourious Basterds–nice to see them in funny roles for a change.
