Friends, if you’re reading, PLEASE comment. As of late, I’m fielding over a hundred spams a day (screw you, Lista de email, et al) and can’t tell you what joy I experience when I find a real comment in all that crap.

I’m a dedicated lurker but I want to tell you how much I have loved the book discussion this summer! You’ve inspired me to pick up and read books I haven’t thought about in years.
Many thanks!

I’m here, I’m here! I hope things are better, that skin eruptions are dying down, that spambots leave you alone, that your book buying habit continues unabated.
A real person in the comments!

Kate, yay! The bites are getting better, but still no answer to what caused them.

Yay, Jodie! I have been blown over by re-reading this summer, and discovering what I still loved and what I didn’t and trying to puzzle out why. I do think the gems are worth re-reading. Not only do they reveal different things on re-readings, but those things are influenced by the different places in our lives.

I’ve been reading the Skurnick book this summer too. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it so thank you for doing your read-along!

Yay, real people! Stephanie, I re-read only about a quarter of the books in it, so I think it’s a lock for next summer as well. The subject matter and the summer are well matched.

I’m always dropping by but I think you know that.

Yep, Carolyn, but it’s still nice that when I had 2 comments to moderate, one was you and thus wasn’t spam!
