My Arm Was Twisted: “Bleak House” Readalong
Oh, I thought I’d given up reading challenges, et al. But I’ve wanted to read Bleak House for a long time, and Patricia from O Canada Y’all linked to a readalong at The Unputdownables. Not sure this is smart, but I’m going to do it anyway. Story of my life.

I’m a little worried because there seemed to be a lot of “rules” for the Bleak House read-a-long and I am not very good with rules. But it has been on my list for a while and I don’t think i will ever get through it otherwise. Free on Kindle if you have one.

Frankly it’s the only real way to read bleack house. It doesn’t half go on, and you need to decide which story is really grabbing you - but it’s worth it.

Rules, schmules. I figure I’ll take their reading schedule and see if it works for me. We have an ancient copy, and I have a nook, so don’t know if I’d be able to get it free, there, but I might just buy the B & N version–I prefer Oxford World editions, but for a read along, the B & Ns are cheap and plentiful.

Wait till you get to the part about the Courts of Equity (and then remember I’ve spend years studying equity! And then be sad for me!)
