The Return of Veronica
There is a new episode tonight of Veronica Mars on UPN at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central.
The front page of Salon today had features on the show and its creator Rob Thomas, both of which I’ve written about previously.
If you didn’t believe me, believe Salon. Veronica Mars is good. Check it out.

I LOVE Veronica! I was concerned when I read the show may be in danger of going off the air. Then I’d never know for sure if it was the brother or mother who killed Lily. That’s my guess. Since now we know the father was with V’s mom.

I think Veronica has a better chance for survival on UPN than on one of the big networks. Ironically, it’s the small networks that are more likely to give the critical hits time to garner an audience. They may have less money, but the small networks also probably have less viable stuff to put on if they pull something off.
I was convinced for a long time that it was the mom. The last episode especially seemed to implicate Duncan, but G. Grod and I are suspicious of Logan’s commentary. We don’t buy his redemption, and I’m wondering exactly how iron clad his alibi really is.
