Low’s The Great Destroyer
is the only CD from the library I have liked so well that I intend to purchase it. Low, a trio from Duluth, has traditionally had a sleepy sound. Not anymore. Destroyer sounds like the band members have woken up, and boy, are they angry. Mesmerizing.

i bought that album after reading about it in paste - i love it too. sort of a downer tho, can only listen to about four songs in a row before i have to take a break with something else.
